FHP Praise Unlimited PR

Find Homeless People Inc., a California-based 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, is announcing a new partnership with Praise Unlmited Homeless Services to feed homeless men, women and children in Los Angeles County and Orange County California.

Volunteers for Find Homeless People are led by Cesar Hernandez into areas that are highly impacted by homelessness in Los Angeles or Orange County California. Every week, more than 100 people are provided essential goods by volunteers representing Find Homeless People.

Praise Unlimited has donated 300 pounds of chicken which we will prepare and deliver during outreach efforts during throughout August 2022. The first 136 pounds of chicken (in addition to water and hygiene kits) were cooked and served at the annual summer concert hosted by La Habra Christian Church.

The remaining 164 pounds of chicken were given away to the 45 families that attended the event. Currently Find Homeless People has assisted nearly 15,000 people since March 2020 through weekly outreach efforts.

Our outreach efforts focus on the most remote areas, places where homeless men, women, and children that lack access to the resources we can provide. We speak with these individuals personally to assess their mental and physical well-being before suggesting the best options for shelter or hot meals.

Each person is provided essential goods and provided an online profile that helps family and friends locate them faster. Having a profile in FindHomelessPeople.org’s database helps homeless people reintegrate back into society – which is key to sustaining mental health and preventing suicide.

We plan to reach a practical, sustainable, long-term solution to homelessness by working directly with the State of California. Municipalities throughout Los Angeles County are currently considering implementing Find Homeless People’s solutions to the California’s growing problem with homelessness.
